Franzil Francis Dias

Growing up in Dubai was the most fulfilling experience that I may ever have in my life and so as a result I was exposed to various nationalities and in turn, so many diverse cultures, religions, customs and creeds that it was a 440 Volt culture shock for me. I was exposed to films and other art forms from various countries and their industries.

 

The love for films has always been there in me and burns with an ardent passion, so much so as to I'm not satisfied in just watching them, rather I'd get out there and learn how to make them. Unfortunately, the better parts of my semesters and time to get exposure to various aspects of filmmaking were taken away by the Covid-19 Pandemic, due to lockdowns, curfews and other restrictions.

 

I joined my first company, Hotpack, as a content creator - creating TikTok content for them when one day all of a sudden I was asked for a suggestion for a story that was required for a cup which had to be released shortly. I gave it a shot and it turns out that they liked that one so much that it got selected.  Eventually, I got began collaborating with the marketing team and became their copywriter.

I always knew I had the flare to write stories and scripts being a filmmaker, but I started using Hotpack's products as my characters to tell a story to the readers through my combination of words and letters.

Apart from Films & Copywriting, I also love playing the guitar, writing songs and rapping. I just finished my first song and it's out on my YouTube Channel.
